Working Student - People & Culture Ops

In a nutshell

We are seeking a proactive and tech-savant People & Culture Ops Work Student to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for students who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic HR environment. You will be instrumental in supporting our HR operations by maintaining our IT systems and assisting in office management tasks to ensure our department runs smoothly.

What you will be doing
  • Assist in the administration and maintenance of HR systems and databases, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Manage the technical setup for new hires, including account creation and software access, to ensure a smooth onboarding process. Collaborate with different areas for seamless integration.

  • Provide support to the HR team and other users of HR-related IT systems, troubleshooting issues and ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Help develop training materials and user manuals for HR. Conduct training sessions for employees on how to effectively use these systems.

  • Generate reports from HR systems as needed for compliance, audit, and management review purposes. Assist in analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Work with the HR team to streamline processes and increase efficiency.

  • Coordinate with external service providers and internal departments to facilitate timely and effective solutions to team requests.

What we would like you to bring with
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Economics, Information Technology, Human Resources Management, or a related field.

  • Good understanding or affinity with IT principles and ability to manage information systems.

  • Experience with HR softwares (such as Personio, Leapsome, Heaven HR etc.) is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues promptly.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
