Vice President Technology

In a nutshell
Mika is seeking a visionary Vice President of Technology to lead our tech department and drive software development. In this role, you will spearhead the development of cutting-edge health tech solutions, ensuring high-quality service to our patients on their journey to surviving cancer.
What you will be doing
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the technology strategy aligned with our company's objectives. Manage the technology budget and drive the development of innovative solutions.

  • Team Management and Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of developers, engineers, and IT specialists, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

  • Product Development Oversight: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring quality, user needs, and regulatory compliance. Closely collaborate with our product team to develop roadmaps and plan capacities.

  • Technology Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging trends and champion the adoption of new technologies.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other department heads to ensure technology initiatives align with business goals. Engage with external partners, e.g. life science companies and technology vendors, to drive collaboration and innovation.

  • Risk Management and Compliance: Ensure the technology infrastructure is secure, resilient, and compliant with industry regulations and standards (e.g. ISO 27001, MDR, HIPAA) in close collaboration with our compliance team.

What we would like you to bring with
  • Significant experience in technology leadership roles, preferably in health tech or digital health sectors.

  • “Hands-on mentality” and expertise in modern software development practices, cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.

  • Ideally understanding of regulatory environments and data privacy considerations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Fluent in English.
